Feature Requests

Currently this function is only available for applicants/resquestors from the web portal (responder / requestor) but not for those via messaging channels or email. Allow applicants to select the relevant manager or department when submitting a PTW application. The application will then be routed to the chosen manager for approval. This provides flexibility for cases where approval depends on the department or nature of the permit, ensuring applications always reach the right decision-maker. Currently, the system only allows predefined managers for PTW applications. This is limiting for scenarios where permits do not have a fixed approving manager. Add a new column/field for “Purpose / Description” (separate from Permit Type). This field will capture the specific reason for the permit, e.g., network servicing, maintenance, installation, etc. [Jurong Island]

Allow checklists (e.g. safety, risk assessment) to be directly linked to a PTW as part of the submission or approval process. Enable designated departments (e.g. Traffic Safety) to review or approve the checklist before the PTW is finalized. Currently, only FacilityBot account holders (Admins/Managers/Responders) can approve or endorse at each step. Introduce the ability to generate a unique QR code or link for each permit type, allowing managers to easily share these with applicants. Currently, managers need to invite applicants via email, but having a shareable QR code or link would streamline the permit application process. [UOL]

When creating permit types, the dropdown menu currently displays all checklists, including those unrelated to permits. Adding the ability to filter checklists based on permit types or labels would make it easier for managers to find the relevant checklists when setting up new permits.
