Currently, the settings for messaging channels apply universally across all channels. However, each messaging channel has different capabilities and limitations, so a one-size-fits-all setting is restrictive. For example: WhatsApp does not support dynamic buttons, so providing a webform link is more useful for fault reporting. Telegram supports dynamic buttons, so having buttons enabled is preferable. Right now, if we configure settings to use a webform link, that applies to all channels (including Telegram, where buttons would be better). Similarly, if buttons are enabled, it doesn’t work properly in WhatsApp. It would be useful to allow individual settings per messaging channel instead of a universal one, so that each channel can be optimized according to its own features and limitations.
