Enable configuration to limit which fault types are visible to certain requestors based on their user tag, requestor tag, or account tag. Current Limitation: When using custom service forms that include a Fault Type field, all fault types (and sub-types) are visible to every requestor — even those that aren’t relevant to their role, department, or use case. This can result in confusion, inefficiency, and user fatigue, especially when there is a long list of fault types. Proposed Enhancement: Allow fault types (and sub-types) to be grouped by category, department, or custom group. Assign these groups to specific requestor or account tags. Only fault types relevant to the requestor’s tag/group will be displayed in the form. Use Case Example: Finance department should only see fault types like “Printer Issue” or “Accounting Software Bug” Engineering team should only see equipment-related faults Cleaning vendors should only view cleaning-related issues Benefits: Reduces cognitive load and form errors Improves efficiency in request submission Enhances overall user experience for large teams with varied needs [ALR]
