The Schedule of Rates (SOR) search currently requires users to select a category first before performing a search.
Example
  • Users cannot search keywords such as “waterproof” or “labor” across all SOR categories.
Current Workflow
To find an SOR item, users must:
  • Select an SOR category (e.g., Mechanical & Electrical, Building Works).
  • Perform the search within that selected category.
Issue
  • Users must open and search within categories individually, which can be inefficient when they are unsure which category the SOR item belongs to.
Proposed Enhancement
  • Introduce the ability to search SOR items across all categories without requiring a category selection first.
Expected Outcome
  • Users can enter keywords directly into the search bar, and the system will return matching SOR items across all categories.
This improves speed, usability, and efficiency when locating SOR items.
