Enable the “Items to Order” feature to be directly linked to the Parts module so that stock levels are automatically updated when orders are fulfilled.
Proposed Functionality:
When a requestor orders items through the “Items to Order” field:
  • The system checks current stock quantity from the Parts inventory and displays it to the requestor.
  • Upon request completion or approval, the quantity of the ordered items is automatically deducted from the linked part in the inventory.
Additional Suggestions:
  • Alert or prompt requestor if item is out of stock or low in quantity
  • Option to allow only available items to be shown in the list
