When a responder scans an Asset QR code, they can currently view the list of requests linked to that asset. However, they are not able to manage or update these requests directly.
This enhancement would allow responders (or users with the appropriate access) to view and update the status or details of open requests directly from the Asset QR scan screen.
Why This Is Useful:
  • On-site responders often identify ongoing or unresolved issues while physically inspecting the asset.
  • Allowing them to update the job status on the spot reduces delays and avoids the extra steps of navigating back through the Requests module.
  • Improves workflow efficiency and accuracy in updating work progress in real time.
Proposed Enhancement:
  • When scanning an Asset QR code:
  • Display all requests linked to the asset.
Allow permitted users to:
  • Update status (e.g., Pending or In Progress → Completed)
  • Add notes and images
  • Reassign or add team members (if allowed by role permissions)
  • Optional: Ensure updates follow existing permission rules (only responders assigned or team supervisors can update).
