Auto-Tagging by Department for Inventory Request System Workflow

Is it possible to assign this per department, or have it automatically categorized based on the responses in the form such as using single-choice or multiple-choice answers? The idea is that whenever someone submits a request, it will automatically be tagged based on the corresponding department on our Inventory request system. Thank you

You can consider using the account tags to tag accounts by departments and create an automation in Workflows to auto assign specific service request forms to specific departments.

What we would like to achieve is for requests from our Inventory System (currently using a customized request form) to be automatically tagged and routed to the appropriate department based on the requestor’s selected option.
Specifically, once the requestor selects a department from the available choices in the form, we would like the request to be automatically assigned to that corresponding department upon submission.
At present, we’ve observed the following limitations:
- When using the workflow feature, the assignment is based on the selected customized request and user account, but not on the responses provided within the service request form itself.
- On the other hand, the logic flow feature is primarily designed to control the visibility of questionnaires based on single or multiple checkbox selections, and does not support tagging or assigning accounts.
